#172424 - Agate & Onyx Set - Bi-convex Go Stones and Marble Go Bowls - Free FedEx Shipping

This set came to Baduk Club from a pawn shop in Saitama, Japan. Agate and Onyx are a popular choice in China, where this set probably came from originally.

The white pieces are agate, with a nice variance in color. The black are onyx, also with interesting variations. They are about size 36 (10mm) thick, but note that agate is very hard so it is hard to cut with the same precision as slate and shell. There is a full set, plus two spare white pieces.

The go bowls are Marble, with nice lids cut to match. They are polished on the outside but may be rough on the interior.

This is a Vintage  product.
