#C232 - 4cm Table Board - Single Piece

This board came to Baduk Club from a go parlor in Tokyo that shut down. It was shipped to Colorado for refurbishing. The board has a raised lacquer grid, which was saved. We sanded the bottom and sides, cleaned the playing surface, then treated it with Monkey Wax (linseed oil and beeswax) and gave it 2 weeks to cure.

The board is about 4.2cm thick, and it is a single piece with a Kiura cut. This is a plain-sawn board that shows off the heart of the tree, The underside has a few scratches, you may want to add small furniture feet. There is some wear on the playing surface as you would expect from a used board.

The wood type is not known. It has standard dimensions.
