#C302 - Size 38 Slate & Shell Set - XL Keyaki low-profile bowls

These bowls are an unusual low-profile shape, and come with refurbished slate & clamshell go stones. 

The wood has a pleasant orange-brown tone. They are XL size, please see the photos for measurements. They have not been refurbished, as their original finish is in good condition. A small crack near the rim of one bowl was reglued and is hardly noticeable. 

The 180 white pieces are Mexican clamshell. They were soaked in hydrogen peroxide for a week before being rinsed with distilled water. They have a pure white patina, and are Utility grade.

The 181 black stones are slate. They are slightly larger than the white; this is preferred so that they appear the same size side-by-side. They were washed with soapy water and rinsed with distilled water, but have not been buffed with mineral oil as we leave this choice to you.
