#C389 - XXL Paulownia storage box for Go Bowls - Accessory

This lightweight wooden box helps protect valuable go bowls. The newer design ensures minimal exposure to moisture and light, while also  being  easy to open. It closes with a purple ribbon and is held together without metal fasteners.

Paulownia is called the Princess Tree, and has great weather resistance due to its low moisture content. It also has a high tolerance for heat and flame, but it can only insulate so much so please do not store your go equipment near heat sources or direct sunlight. 

This is the ideal storage container for a set of XL or XXL go bowls, with 2 cells that are each 16.5cm square and 12cm tall. This one has a patina from age, and was reglued in our Colorado workshop. A watermark on the top could be sanded off, if desired. It comes with fabric pads to help cushion and wrap the bowls.
