This remarkable set came to Baduk Club from a Go & Shogi dealer in Kanagawa, Japan. 

The bowls are Kokutan (striped ebony), each is about 12cm wide and 10cm tall, shaped in the Honinbo style. The dark striations of the wood are gorgeous, and the color helps accentuate the decoration of gold lacquer in a floral design. They come with a protective storage box made of Paulownia wood.

This is a Vintage product. It has not been refurbished in our Colorado workshop. We are able to offer it at a discounted price because small defects may exist.
