This set comes from Osaka and Okayama.
The board is gorgeous. It has mostly clean corners and edges, but it also has amazing grain. It is a 3-piece hagi board, where the wood has been joined together - this type of construction is quite common for a table board, since making it from a single piece can lead to eventual warping. The heartwood color is consistent with Kaya and Katsura. Based on the wavy grain, the warm orange tone, and the high density (5kg), I think it is Kaya.
The bowls look like Keyaki (zelkova) or Sakura (cherry). They have good lines and a glossy finish.
The stones are slate and shell size 33. The white stones look mostly moon-grade and measure 8.9-9.2mm. The black pieces are slightly thicker at 9.2-9.6mm, which is very common to counteract the visual gain of the shiny white clamshell. There are 180 white, 181 black.
