This go board turned up at a thrift store in Kyoto. The goban appears to be Matsu (Pine) in decent condition. It stands 20cm tall with the legs on and weighs about 7kg.
The grid-lines are hand-lacquered tachimori, though it looks like the playing surface has a ring from a coffee-cup. In general it could use a good cleaning, and the under-exposed photos don't do it any favors (sorry!). I actually refurbished one just like this recently, though it's hard to tell if the ends are just waxy or have some kind of varnish on them. This one may need more of a citrus solvent, applying a varnish stripper if necessary, then applying a fresh coat of paste wax.
The bowls are chestnut and come with glass stones and a folding board in good condition with its original box. This way you will have a board for home and one to take on the road. The lids of the bowls have writing inside, which should come out with something like rubbing alcohol or turpentine.
International seamail shipping from Japan (to almost everywhere) is already included in the purchase price for free - however, this service takes up to 2-3 months. You may upgrade to FedEx shipping for a fee, which reduces the shipping time to only 5 business days. Purchasing this service can be done at Checkout (if there are no other items in your cart) or by adding the FedEx Upgrade to your Cart and has the added benefit of a larger box, so it is both more room for padding and less time in transit. In either case you will have a tracking number from the shipping service that you can use to sign up for notifications.
