This set came to Baduk Club from an antique shop in Wakayama.
The stones are Size 37 with their original box, which indicates that they are Standard (Utility) grade. The black are slate, about 10.7mm, while the white are clamshell, about 10.4mm. It is common for the black to be thicker than the white - if they are made the same size then the shiny white stones appear larger.
This set is still in Japan, it has not been refurbished in our Colorado shop. This is why we can offer it at a discounted rate. Please refer to the photos, as we do not have additional information.
