Calling them Snow-grade would not do them justice, as they are a different species of clam than normal Mexican clamshell. These clams grow in colder waters, in the northern latitudes of Japan, so their lines are densely packed as you can see in the photos. They were soaked in h2o2 for a week, washed, and rinsed with distilled water. The pieces are standard width and about 4.5mm thick.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 181 black slate stones are slightly larger to account for black's slimming effect. They were washed with soapy water, rinsed with distilled water, but have not been buffed with mineral oil - we leave this choice to you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bowls are Rosewood. They were crafted exquisitely thin, so they are lightweight but sturdy. They have a handsome patina from age, and may be antiques. They have been scrubbed of their original finish and polished with Monkey Butter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a \u003ca rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/store.baduk.club\/pages\/vintage\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eVintage\u003c\/a\u003e set.
