#C238 - Size 30/31 Slate and Shell Go Stones (snow) and Go Bowls (keyaki) Set

This lovely set includes Go Bowls and refurbished slate and shell Go Stones.

The stones are size 31 slate & size 30 shell. They have been cleaned per our Care Instructions , including a weeklong bath for the white stones in hydrogen peroxide. The 180 white pieces are Mexican clamshell, and measure about 8.1mm with a strong trend towards Snow-grade. The 181 slate stones are slightly wider and thicker, which is preferred to account for black's slimming effect, and they were washed and rinsed with distilled water.

The bowls are Keyaki (zelkova), with a pleasing orange tone and a nice way of catching the light. They were refurbished by being scrubbed of their original finish, treated with our Monkey Wax, and given 2 weeks to cure. At XL size they fit the stones with a comfortable amount of room to spare.
