Clamshell Art

Every time we I unbox old vintage sets, I find a fair number of damaged stones. While the chips are usually slight, if it is anything more than a tiny nick then I set them aside.

Above: An artists I know is incorporating the stones into their collage artwork. 
Below: Here they are decorating the frame of another collage.

Below: A second artist I know used some as Yucca flowers:

A third person - a tabletop gamer (Warhammer?) - is using the pieces as obstacles in the terrain for a campaign. 

It's lovely to see new life given to these stones. If you're interested in using some, I am selling them by the pound in our Vintage section.
