Happy Earth Day
It's humble-brag time:
Besides tape, I have never had to purchase packing materials for the Colorado workshop. Materials arrive in my orders from Japan, the recycle bins in my local alley are constantly stocked with cardboard, and my friends and neighbors supply me with bubble wrap and used padded envelopes.
I'm very proud of this.
If you are a confused customer of my Vintage gear, I apologize that your orders arrived looking like an Amazon package, new shoes, or some other random nonsense.
Another good place to hunt packing materials is your local board game store. They are great place to pick up big boxes and enormous quantities of air pillows. Perishable food boxes are my favorite, as they come with a padded layer of insulation, so keep an eye out for the neighbor with a meal delivery subscription and make a friend.
