This lovely set includes refurbished Go Stones and like-new Go Bowls.
The stones are size 28 slate & shell. They have been cleaned per our Care Instructions. For the shell stones, this meant a week-long soak in h2o2, a rinse with distilled water, and buffed with iso-paraffin wax.
The 180 clamshells are Mexican clamshell stones, with some variety in density of lines, but most are Utility grade. Some have small imperfections.
The 181 black stones have been washed with distilled water, and would look darker and smoother if you want to buff them with mineral oil. They are slightly wider than the white stones, and slightly thicker on average as well.
The bowls are Chestnut with their original shellac finish, and they come in their original box. They catch the light very well, and at Large size they fit the stones snugly with little room to spare. Please see the photos for measurements.
