This awesome go set came to BadukClub from a dealer in Osaka, Japan.
The go bowls are extra large Sakura (cherry). Cherry and Keyaki are standard woods for good go bowls, as they are midweight and sturdy. They come with matching lids and they fit the stones comfortably.
The go stones are size 36 slate and shell (10mm thick). The white stones have nice lines and are likely moon or snow grade. It is a full set with 181 black and 180 white.
The bowls come with a protective Paulownia storage box. It is missing its purple ribbon, a replacement twill ribbon should be 2m long and 1cm-1.5cm wide.
Because this set is still in Japan, it has not been refurbished in our Colorado workshop. You can find cleanup instructions on our Care page.
