This wonderful set of go equipment was refurbished in our Colorado workshop.
The stones are size 28 slate & shell, about 7.5mm thick. They have been cleaned per our Care Instructions. As you can see from the photos, the 180 white pieces are a mix of grades, mostly Utility. The 181 black pieces are slate, slightly larger than the white to account for black's slimming effect.
The clamshell stones were washed, soaked in h2o2 for a week, and rinsed with distilled water. The black stones were washed and rinsed with distilled water, but they have not been buffed with mineral oil so we leave that option to you.
The bowls are Kuri (chestnut), a dark wood with dramatic lines. They fit the stones snugly.
