These size Large go bowls come with Japanese hamaguri stones. These slow-growing clams have lines so dense that they are beyond the Snow grade of Mexican clams.
The bowls are a pleasant dark brown color. They were refurbished in our Colorado workshop; scrubbed clean with turpentine, treated with a Monkey Butter polish, and buffed. The bowls fit the stones comfortably. Please see the photos for measurements.
The 180 white stones are Japanese clamshell. They may be antiques. Broken pieces were replaced, but some very small chips may still exist. They were cleaned according to our Care Instructions including a week-long soak in h2o2, and a wash with distilled water.
The 181 black stones are slate. They were cleaned according to our Care Instructions, including a wash with distilled water, but have not yet been buffed with mineral oil - we leave this choice to you.
