This lovely set came to Baduk Club from a game shop in Osaka, Japan.
The bowls are Chinese Quince (sometimes called Indian Rosewood). This is a high-density wood with great longevity. They are red/orange in color and will shift to orange/brown over time.
The go stones are a full set of size 30 (8mm) slate and shell.
A protective paulownia box is included. It is the modern style, and closes with a decorative ribbon.
This is a Vintage product. It has not been refurbished in our Colorado workshop, so we are able to offer it at a discounted rate. Thank you for understanding that small defects may exist.
