This lovely set came to Baduk Club from an antique shop in Hiroshima, Japan. It is likely Chinese in origin.
The bowls are both made of stone, carefully carved with lids to match. The white bowl is White Marble, while the black bowl is Green Marble (serpentine).
The go stones also appear to be marble as well. There are 181 black and 175 white (another 6 white stones are available from our Colorado workshop if you will pay the cost of shipping those separately).
