This lovely set came to Baduk Club from a vintage shop in Tokyo, Japan. It is likely Chinese in origin.
The bowls are made of stone, carefully carved with lids to match. The material looks like Striped Agate. They are striking, and a nice match for the yunzi stones.
The yunzi stones are single-convex. The black are slightly larger than the white to account for black's slimming effect.
An MDF board is included, it has some wear from use. There is a Chinese Chess board on the reverse side.
