This board came to Baduk club from an antique dealer in Tokyo.
The board is a lovely candy color typical of Kaya, and has the unique sweet scent. It is a 4-piece hagi board, where the wood has been joined together - this type of construction is quite common for a table board, since making it from a single piece can lead to eventual warping. The board looks to be sitting flat on the surface, so if there is any warping it is minimal.
It is an older board, but is in very good shape without major defects. It weighs 4.6kg. A paulownia storage box is included. Please see the photos for details.
