This board came to Baduk club from a private home in Hiroshima, Japan.
The board is a lovely yellow color typical of Shinkaya. It is a hagi board, where the wood has been joined together - this type of construction is quite common for a table board, since making it from a single piece can lead to eventual warping. The board has a raised lacquer grid made with tachimori.
