This goban set came to Baduk Club from a consignment shop in Yokohama, Japan.
The board is about 3cm thick and has a pleasant brown color. It may be Katsura or Matsu (pine) or something similar. It sits on 4 rubber feet. It has typical wear and tear.
The bowls are beautiful, keyaki or a kind of mulberry. They catch the light really well. They come with their original box, it is not in good shape. The bowls fit the stones with a comfortable amount of room to spare.
The stones were not measured or counted, but look 8-9mm (size 30-34). The black will be slightly wider than the wide to account for black's slimming effect. If spare pieces are needed, please contact us when this item arrives and you have had a chance to measure them.
