This lovely of Japanese Go Bowls was not refurbished, as they seem in a near-new state.
The bowls are Keyaki (Zelkova) with a pleasing orange-brown tone. They have their original shellac finish. At XL size the will fit stones up to about size 36. Please see the photos for measurements.
The bowls catch the light very well. It is possible that they are something more valuable, like Ash or a type of mulberry. They come with their original box.
