These Keyaki (zelkova wood) bowls have a pleasant orange-brown tone. They are XL size, please see the photos for measurements. The underside of each has a sign of quality on the underside, where it has been branded by Kaishi, a go bowl maker.
The 180 white pieces are clamshell, size 35/36. They were soaked in hydrogen peroxide for a week before being rinsed with distilled water. They are roughly Moon-grade Mexican clamshells.
The 181 black stones are slate. They are slightly larger than the white; this is preferred so that they appear the same size side-by-side on the board because of black's slimming effect. They were washed with soapy water and rinsed with distilled water, but have not been buffed with mineral oil as we leave this choice to you.
An manufacturer's box for the bowls is included, this may not be original to these particular bowls.
