This is an outstanding set of go bowls. They are 8cm tall and 13.7cm wide (10cm tall with lids on).
The wood is Karin (Quince), which closely resembles Rosewood and Ebony in its density and grain patterns. It is a very heavy wood with great longevity.
Quince begins as a Red wood, and will gradually change color through Orange on its way to Brown as it ages.
The set has been scrubbed and treated with Monkey Butter, a mineral oil and beeswax mix.
