This refurbished set includes vintage Go Stones and Go Bowls.
The stones are size 20ish (~6mm) Slate & Shell.
The 180 white pieces are Utility grade Mexican clamshell. They were cleaned per our Care Instructions, including a week-long soak in h2o2 and a rinse with distilled water.
The lightbox shines through the Mexican clams to reveal their true lines. Under normal light they are a clean white color.
The 181 slate stones are slightly larger, to account for black's slimming effect. They were washed with soapy water, rinsed with distilled water, but have not yet been buffed with mineral oil (we leave this choice to you).
The bowls were refurbished in our Colorado workshop with a Monkey Butter treatment. They fit the stones comfortably. They are most likely Quince, but could be Mulberry or something similar.
This is one of our Vintage products. There may be small defects that escaped our attention.
