This small board game collection has not been refurbished, except for the go stones. The 6mm glass stones were washed and counted, replacement pieces were added to make it a full set of 181 black and 180 white.
The board is an older style that is no longer produced. Tenons on one half will slot into the mortises on the other half, creating a compact and portable set that still feels solid and substantial. The wood is Quartersawn wood, a bit dry from age and in poor condition. The grid looks handmade. The reverse side of the board has a shogi grid. A set of Shogi pieces is included.
A set of woven bowls is included, they fit the 6mm glass stones snugly. They are best closed with rubber bands or similar.
A miniature magnetic board is included. It is slightly dented. It comes with its original box.
A small box of cards is included, probably a Karuta game.
