This Japanese board is 2cm thick. The wood was carefully selected Katsura, and is rift-sawn. Katsura is a soft wood so the sound of stones being played is muted.
The board was treated with Monkey Butter and then buffed. Excess was can be removed by buffing with a clean cloth.
