This wooden hand plane comes with a Japanese steel blade and a metal wedge / chipbreaker. The blade has a detachable part. 

This plane was refurbished slightly. The plane was sanded clean. The blade and chip breaker were treated with lye to remove rust. Then everything was polished with Monkey Butter.
