This set was refurbished in our Colorado workshop. It includes beautiful brown bowls and a complete set of slate and shell stones.
The go stones are a full set of size 22 slate & shell, about 6.5mm thick. They have been cleaned per our Care Instructions. The 180 white pieces are Japanese clamshell, which were soaked in h2o2 for a week, then rinsed with distilled water. The 181 black stones are slate, they were washed and then rinsed with distilled water, but they have not been buffed with mineral oil so we leave that option to you.
The bowls are Kuri (chestnut), a lightweight brown wood with distinct grain. They were scrubbed clean and buffed with Monkey Butter.
This is a Vintage product.
