This lovely set came to Baduk Club from an antique dealer in Osaka, Japan.
The bowls are Chinese Quince (sometimes called Indian Rosewood). This is a high-density wood with great longevity. They are red/orange in color and will shift to orange/brown over time. They come with their original box.
The go stones are a full set of size 30 (8mm) slate and shell.
This is a Vintage product. It has not been refurbished in our Colorado workshop, so we are able to offer it at a discounted rate. Thank you for understanding that small defects may exist.
