This deluxe go board came to BadukClub from a refurbisher in Kanagawa, Japan.
The board is 17.5cm thick. It has an even yellow color typical of Shinkaya (Alaskan Spruce). and it is a rift-sawn board, a Shihou-masa cut. This cutting style is the highest rated, as it has the maximum dimensional stability and will not warp over time. This board has immense character, a bit denser than usual at 16kg with thin, even lines, and a warm overall color. There are very few stray marks, but there may be other small imperfections.
This board does not come with bowls and stones (another player has already purchased those separately).
