This decorative toy came to BadukClub from a private home in Fukuoka, Japan. In addition, two make-e teacups are included. These are all Yanagiyama products, and are made to imitate the maki-e style of lacquered wood.
The board is lovely, featuring grasses and floral designs on top of a glittery base layer. The board dimensions are about half of a standard board at 22cm long and 21cm wide. The board is 8cm thick and stands on 5cm legs for a total height of 13cm..
The resin bowls also feature maki-e style with flowers. They come with stones that fit the board. The original board box is included.
The teacups feature floral designs on a plain black lacquer base. They are 10cm tall and 8cm wide and come with their original packaging.
