These two boards came to Baduk club from a resale shop in Hokkaido, Japan.
The go board is a lovely single-piece board. It is a color typical of Katsura. You can really appreciate the grain of the wood by examining the endgrain. At 6cm, you can remove the legs if you want to use it as a table board. Some wax residue is a good side - the board is relatively unused.
The stones have their original box with a 6000 yen price tag ($40). High quality glass stones like this will last a lifetime.
A shogi set is included, also 6cm thick with detachable legs and new pieces in a storage box.
