This deluxe go set came to BadukClub from a reseller in Osaka, Japan.
The go bowls are size XL Kusu (camphor) with their original finish. This is a premier wood for go bowls. They come with matching lids and they fit the stones comfortably. The bowls themselves have outstanding grain patterns, reminiscent of Island Mulberry wood.
The go stones are size 37 slate and shell (about 10.4mm thick). There is a full set of 181 black and 180 white. The white stones have consistent lines, so they are likely Moon or Snow grade. The black stones are slightly thicker than the white, which is intentional to account for black's slimming effect.
