This awesome go set came to BadukClub from a dealer in Osaka, Japan.
The go bowls are extra large Keyaki (Zelkova). Cherry and Keyaki are standard woods for good go bowls, as they are midweight and sturdy. They come with matching lids and they fit the stones comfortably.
The go stones are size 35 slate and shell (almost 10mm thick). It is a full set with 181 black and 180 white. The bowls come with a protective Paulownia storage box. It closes with a decorative purple ribbon.
Because this set is still in Japan, it has not been refurbished in our Colorado workshop. You can find cleanup instructions on our Care page.
