These quince bowls have turned brown over time but still have a nice lustre in the light. Quince is a dense wood with good longevity. The original finish has scratches abd is faded in spots.

There are 180 pieces of each color, the clamshell 5.6-6mm thick, and the black slate slightly thicker at 6.3-6.6mm. The white stones have great lines and may be Japanese clams (hamaguri).
