These dark bowls have wonderful lines, and are most likely Mulberry or Keyaki with a dark wood-stain. They measure 14.3cm wide, and 8cm tall without lids or 9.8cm with lids on. They have their original finish. One bowl has some marks on the interior, maybe from crayons.
The white stones are Mexican giant clams, with a bright white tone. There is a mix of grades, but most are Snow. They have been soaked in h2o2 for a week, washed with distilled water, and buffed with iso-paraffin wax.
There are 181 black pieces. The white measure 8mm-8.2mm, and the black measure about 8.1mm-8 3mm thick.
