This set came to Baduk Club from an antique shop in Ibaraki.
There are 181 black and 180 white pieces. They were not measured, but look 9mm-11mm thick (size 34 or 36 or 38). The clamshells appear to be snow grade, but may be moon grade. The set was accompanied by a Kaya board which is not included.
The Japanese go bowls are mulberry, with their original finish in very good condition.
This set is still in Japan, it has not been refurbished in our Colorado shop. This is why we do not have specific measurements or back-lit photos of the clamshell, and why we can offer it at a discounted rate. Please refer to the photos provided, as we do not have additional information at this time.

You can save some cost by downgrading to Japan Post Surface (3 months), but please contact us to do this at your own risk as damage can occur with surface shipping.
