This deluxe go board came to BadukClub from a private home in Hyogo, Japan.
The board is 15cm thick. It has an even yellow color typical of Shinkaya (Alaskan Spruce). and it is a quarter-sawn board, a Tenchi-masa cut. This cutting style is highly rated, as it has the maximum dimensional stability (it will not warp over time), and shows straight lines on almost all of the surfaces. There are a few stray marks, and there may be other small imperfections.
This board does not come with bowls and stones, but it includes a fancy cloth cover for the board, a paulownia lid, and a decorative cover for the lid.
