This awesome go set came to BadukClub from an antique dealer in Shizuoka, Japan.
The Sakura (cherry) bowls have a beautiful red tone, with clean lines that match clamshell stones. They fit the stones comfortably.
The go stones are slate and shell. They are a full set of 180 white and 181 black. They are size 35 (~10mm thick). The white stones look moon-grade or snow-grade. The black stones are slightly thicker to account for black's slimming effect.
A basic paulownia box is include for storage purposes. It may need to be reglued after shipping. It closes with a purple Sanada ribbon.
Because this set is still in Japan, it has not been refurbished in our Colorado workshop and we can offer it at a discount.
