This set came to Baduk Club in a quick sale from Mr. Yasu in Kanagawa. He did not take measurements, but we are able to offer this set and a discounted price.
The board is in great shape. It has good corners and edges, and it also has amazing grain pattern. The tree it was taken from had to be extremely large, because the resulting cut is Shihou-masa, the most highly valued cut for go boards. This cut provides straight grains on all 6 sides of the board, making it very easy on the eyes. It looks like the underside could be cleaned up a bit to remove old wax (a dry cloth, or a soapy plastic abrasive are fine). The color is a pleasant pale yellow, very common for boards made of Agathis or Alaskan Spruce (shin-kaya). The growth lines are quite dense and could point to Kaya, but without checking its weight and scent we can only hope that it the case. It looks about 12cm tall, and will stand about 24cm on legs.
The bowls are Sakura (cherry) or Shin-Sakura (mahogany), and are made from a very sturdy style. They look like size XL but with the thick walls they are a snug fit for the stones.
The stones are slate and shell, but were not counted. Based on their shape, they appear to be about size 30-32 (8mm-9mm). If more pieces are needed, we can follow up with you to help complete the set, but that would be an additional order.
This is a vintage item.
